Event Notes
Note (1) Marriage license issued in Wetzel County on Aug 8 1899, but not returned or
endorsed.  Nonetheless, they appeared together in the 1900 Census as a married
couple, length of marriage one year, with daughter Samantha born in February
1900.  The 1929 obituary of wife's father identified her as Mrs. James Ice.
