Note (2) Death record shows burial location as Randolph Cemetery. Note (3) Entry in Doddridge County death record gives death date as May 13 1918, age 77 yrs 12 days, place of death Market. But the corresponding death certificate at the WV Bureau of Vital Statistics states death date as May 21 1918, also age 77 yrs 12 days, and also at Market. Cause of death given in both records as "old age." Although age at death would put her birth date in May 1841, the 1900 Census shows it as May 1842. "Doddridge County Cemeteries, Vol. IV," p. 24, reports dates as May 1 1842 - May 13 1913 (sic), presumably from a reading of the headstone. The 1913 death year would appear to be with a misreading or a typographical error. Note (4) "Doddridge County Cemeteries, Vol. II," p. 123, citing obituary (West Union Record, 8/28/1903), reports burial in an unmarked grave at Robinson Cemetery. But "Doddridge County Cemeteries, Vol. IV, p. 24," reports a headstone for him at Coplin Cemetery, with birth date Dec 29 1844 and no death date.
