Event Notes
Note (1) Records show that he died of typhoid fever at the Sheridan field hospital in
Winchester, Virginia.
Note (2) The death date on her headstone is reported as 1924.  But her obituary, in
the Sep 20 1928 issue of the "West Union Herald," shows it to be Sep 8 1928.
Note (3) Birth date incorrectly entered in death record as Apr 28 1859.  Her birth
record shows that she was born on Nov 17 1859, and the 1900 Census also shows
her birth date as Nov 1859.
