But age at marriage and in census records would indicate an 1829 or 1830 birth year, and age 49 in death record also indicates an 1829 birth year. Benjamin and his brother John were thus twins, as both were listed as age 20 in the 1850 Census. There is still the discrepancy, however, in their reported place of birth, whether Harrison County or Tyler County, which probably stems from the fluctuating county boundaries of that time. Note (2) Death record gives burial location only as West Union. Since her parents, husband and son are all buried in the same plot at the old SDB section of Blockhouse Hill Cemetery, it is presumed that she was buried with them. Note (3) Birth date given in 1900 Census as Feb 1878.
