Ritchie Co; and Ida Collins, 23, of Ritchie Co; but there was no entry to indicate that the marriage ever took place.  
Parents were not identified in either record, and it is not known if these are the same Alvin 
Tharp.

Note (1) Age 66y 7m 21d in death record put birth date at May 29 1863.  But age 4 at
1870 Census puts birth in 1866, which is also the date on his headstone.
