Event Notes
Note (1) There is no death record for Mary Ann (Brien) Vincent, and the exact date of
her death has not been determined.  However, Doddridge County court records, now
on file at the West Virginia State Archives in Charleston, contain a bill of
sale for the personal property of "Mary Ann Vincent, Deceased," dated December
11, 1860.  Since she appeared in the 1860 Census enumerated on June 29, 1860,
her death must have occurred between those two dates.  Husband Joseph I. Vincent
was identified as a widower at the time of his marriage to Arthelia Pinell in
December 1863.
