Note (2) Although his death record states birth date as Mar 24 1884, and his headstone shows birth date as Mar 24 1882, neither of those birth years appears to be correct. The 1900 Census gives his age as 20, born in March 1880, and his Nov 1903 marriage record gives his age as 20, again putting his birth in 1880. Name on headstone: Kenner B. Jones. Note (3) Although death record gives birth date as Jan 4 1885, and headstone also gives birth year as 1885, the 1900 Census states his age as 16 and his birth date as Jan 1884. But both of those dates conflict with birth date of brother Sherman, in Aug 1884.
