Nancy; died Aug 15 1883, cause of death "lungs."  Informant:  Mother.  (Note:  There is no other record of Fuller & 
Nancy Ross having a child named Eli.  Rather, there is a son Levi D. Ross, who was age 5 in the 1860 Census, age 14 in 
the 1870 Census, and age 23 in the 1880 Census.  This would appear to be the same person.  However, the headstone for 
Levi D. Ross, near his parents graves at Oxford Baptist Cemetery, gives his death date as Aug 26 1885, age 27y 11m 18d, 
which calculates to a birth date of Sep 8 1857.  No death record matching that name and date is found.  Despite all the 
discrepancies, it does appear that Levi D. Ross and Eli Ross are the same person.), DR p. 40 :

Event Notes
Note (1) Age given in death record as 61y 2m 23d, which calculates to a birth date of
Jan 6 1818.  But age 61y 4m 28d on headstone calculates to a birth date of Nov 6
1817.  Age was 32 in 1850 Census, 42 in 1860, and 52 in 1870, which would still
make either birth date valid.

Note (3) Birthplace given as Harrison County in marriage record, but as Barbour County
in death record.
Note (4) Age in death record given as 14y 11m 15d, but on headstone as 14y 11m
5d.
Note (5) Age given on headstone would put birth in Feb 1850.  Date on headstone, which
is of poor legibility, appears to be 13 yr 2 mo 4 da, with the number of days
the most questionable.  But she was age 7 in 1860 Census, one year younger than
brother Franklin.
