Event Notes Note (1) Age 39 in 1880 Census puts birth in about 1841. Note (2) Birth date on headstone is 1867. But birth record shows it to be Oct 2 1866. He was age 14 in the 1880 Census, enumerated in June of that year. Note (3) Although the death date on his headstone is 1914, his death record and obituary (in the Feb 4 1915 issue of the West Union Herald) show that it occurred on January 29 1915. Note (4) Age in 1886 marriage record stated as 16 as of Apr 27 1886, putting age in about 1870. But age 12 in 1880 Census puts it in about 1868. Birth record shows it to be Apr 7 1868, but her death record states Apr 27 1868. Note (5) In household of daughter and son-in-law, Lelia & Earl McIntyre. Note (6) Birth date given in 1900 Census as June 1871.
