Event Notes Note (1) Age 26 in 1880 marriage record would put birth in about 1854, an apparent clerical error; age 48 in 1894 marriage record puts it at about 1846, and the 1900 Census specifies Oct 1846. However, his death record states birth date as Oct 4 1845, while his headstone shows it as Oct 12 1844. There is also a conflict with his date of death, with the death record stating Feb 14 1922, while he headstone has Feb 22 1922. Note (2) Birth date given in 1900 Census as Nov 1868, but age 75y 8m 25d given at time of death would put it at Oct 18 1867. Obituary states Nov 26 1867. Note (3) Birth date given in 1943 marriage record as Nov 19 1904, age 39, while the SSDI shows it as Nov 9 1900 and the headstone date is also 1900. But she was present for the 1900 Census, birth date given as Nov 1899, and she was age 10 in the 1910 Census. Her birth record, which is a delayed entry filed by her mother in 1952, shows her birth date as Nov 19 1900, which again conflicts with her appearance in the 1900 Census. Note (4) Age in marriage record would put birth in about 1899, but age 8 in 1910 Census puts it in about 1902. Age 20y 6m 25d in death record calculates to a birth date of Sep 11 1901.
