"Mrs. Lucy Dotson is erecting a fine porch in front of the Grant House, which will add materially to the appearance as well as to the convenience of this splendid old property, when the improvement is completed."

Lucy M. Dotson, 75, married [sic], value of home $6,000; dau Barbra A. Wallace, 51, married; son-in-law Mont B. Wallace, 50, driller (oil & gas); lodger (corrected from "friend") Charles Jones (or Janes), 15. All born in West Virginia.
Lucy Cheuvront Dotson died in August 1938.
