    • 1870 Census, Harrison Co, WV (Simpson Twp), enumerated on Nov 2 1870:
      Levi Nutter, 41, farmer; Rebecca Nutter, 44; Frances Adams (female), 15; Florence Adams, 9.

      NOTE: Relationship of the Adams girls to the Nutter family is not indicated. Levi C. Nutter and Rebecca Greathouse were married in Harrison County in Dec 1851. Frances Adams seems to have been with the Nutter family in 1860 as well, with her name listed as Mary F. Adams, age 5. She married George Hornick in Harrison County in Jan 1872, with her parents identified as Hickman & Seny (?) Adams. That would make Florence and Mary Frances Adams sisters, as implied int the 1870 Census.

      Florence was identified in her marriage record as Florence Adams, daughter of (blank) and Senia Adams. But in her husband's and children's death records she was identified as Florence Hickman. There is no death record for her.
