      "Dr. B. C. Bland died at his home in this city Tuesday morning at 5 o'clock from hemorrhage of the lungs; aged 43 years. Dr. Bland was born and raised at Blandville, this county, and was the son of Richard Bland, a well known and highly esteemed farmer. The last two years of his life he was an invalid and was cared for by his faithful wife so tendering that she is now suffering from the same disease. Her death is expected at any time by her physician."
