      Identified as Friend W. Williams, age 24 as of Sep 19 1881, b. & res. in Doddridge Co; and Manerva Vincent, age 24 as of Oct 1 1881, b. in Marion Co, res. in Doddridge Co. Married Dec 25 1881 "at John Foxes Residence." Ceremony performed by Minister William Strickling at residence of John A. Fox, who, along with the groom, was a provider of information for the marriage record. (Note: Wife's obituary incorrectly states marriage date as Dec 25 1880.)
