"GROCERY CHANGES HANDS - The grocery owned by the West Union Store Company, has been purchased by D. C. Powell and R. C. Gray. The goods have been invoiced and the new firm has already taken charge. This has long been one of the leading groceries in the town and has always enjoyed a liberal patronage. No doubt the new managers will keep it up to its past excellent standard and will merit a continuance of the spendid patronage it has enjoyed. The West Union Store Co., which is one of the solid business concerns of the town, will still continue in the dry goods, notions and clothing business, in which line it has been quite successful ever since the foundation of the company. We wish both the firms success."
