George Cumberledge, 40, farmer, value of real estate $900, value of personal estate $400; Cinda, 46; Kesiah, 13; Jane, 11; Amanda, 6; Benjamin Towzen, 76, laborer, cannot write. All born in Virginia except George, born in Pennsylvania.
1880 Census, Tyler Co, WV (Centerville District), enumerated on Jun 21 1880:
George Cumberledge, 50, farmer, b. Pa (both parents b. Pa.); wife Cindrilla, 56, b. W.Va. (father b. Pa, mother b. W.Va.); dau Elisabeth, 24, b. W.Va., single.
(NOTE: It appears that daughter Keziah Elizabeth and her husband William Barnhart, who were married in June 1874, were either separated or divorced. In this census, he is found as a "widower" in the home of his mother and stepfather, Rebecca & Jacob Gray, in Centerville District.)
Cindarilla died in March 1891. George remarried Hannah (Bradford) Ash in September 1891.

George F. Cumberlidge, 70, b. Aug 1829 in Pa. (both parents b. Pa.), farmer, married 40 yrs (corrected from 48 yrs); wife Hannah Cumberlidge, 63, b. Dec 1835 in Pa. (both parents b. Pa.), mother of 7 children (all still living); son (sic) William Ash, 25, b. Feb 1875 in WVa (both parents b. Pa.), farm laborer, married 3 yrs; dau-in-law Mary Ash, 20, b. Jan 1880 in WVa (both parents b. WVa), married 3 yrs, mother of 1 child (still living); dau (sic) Esta M, 9 months, b. Aug 1899 in WVa (both parents b. WVa).
