As grandchildren of William Jaco and Sarah Spence Mott, Benjamin Franklin Jaco and wife Sarah Terry were first cousins.

(Note: Sarah (Terry) Jaco and Jane (Terry) Smith were sisters.)

(Note: The adjacent household consisted of: Miles Webb, 25, black male, b. Missouri, farm worker; wife Matilda Webb, 19, black female, b. Va. This is presumably the Matilda McGee found in the Jaco household in 1870. Miles and Matilda later had several children and were found in 1900 in Johnson Co, MO; in 1920 in Nowata Co, OK; and in 1930 in Washington Co, OK. Matilda's parents have not been determined.)

In the 1920 Census, Benjamin F. Jaco, 76, b. W.Va., married, was listed as a resident of the National Military Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers in Leavenworth County, Kansas.
