Notes for: James Garfield Charter
For many years, James G. Charter was assistant cashier of the First National Bank of West Union, and later assistant cashier and president of the Doddridge County Bank. He was also the president of the Doddridge Window Glass company.

OLDSMOBILE WRECKED
"About 9:30 ante meridiem, Monday morning June 29 1953, B&O Freight Train No. 96 traveling East struck an Olds automobile in which auto James G. Charter was driving, with the result: The car completely wrecked; James G. Charter by reason of quick headwork uninjured and without even a scratch on him."
