Notes for: Naomi Gaston

Although she was married to Peter Dumont, Naomi Gaston's three children are listed in Max Perry's Gaston Genealogy with the surname Gaston, and her two sons' children continued to carry the Gaston name. Perry's source for this was not stated, and it was likely the result of incorrect data entry. Census data show that those children and grandchildren in fact carried the Dumont name.
