Jan 1885; son Verner V, 11, b. Sep 1888; son Rusell L, 8, b. Oct 1891; son Glenn G, 4, b. Sep 1895; boarder Bertha C. Bartlett, 22, b. Nov 1877, occup servant, single; boarder William Braden, 30, b. (Note: The enumeration incorrectly includes all five of the parents' children, not just the four still living. A headstone at Lawford Cemetery shows that son Glenn Gale Law was born on Sep 12 1895 and died on Jun 25 1897.)

1920 Census, Ritchie Co, WV (Union District, Auburn Precinct #4), enumerated on Feb 3 1920:
M. L. Law, 62, farmer; wife Mida, 58; dau Velma M, 19; son Herman E, 20.
(Note: We have found no other reference to a son Herman.)
