NOTE: The next enumerated household was that of Charles Clevenger's mother and stepfather, Mary (Welch) & Ephraim Bee.

1900 Census, Doddridge Co, WV (Southwest District), enumerated on Jun 6 1900:
C. B. Clevenger, 53, b. Feb 1847, farmer, married 34 yrs; wife C. N., 54, b. Jun 1845, married 34 yrs, mother of 4 children (3 still living); son John A, 21, b. Mar 1879, single, teacher; dau Dollie W, 19, b. Apr 1881, single, teacher.

1910 Census, Doddridge Co, WV (Town of West Union), enumerated in April 1910:
Charles B. Clevenger, 63, no occupation, married 45 yrs; wife Narcissus, 65, married 45 yrs, mother of 1 child (still living); dau Dolores, 28, single, school teacher; granddau Florence Dotson, 20, single, no occupation.
(NOTE: The entry regarding the wife's children is in conflict with other records and is an apparent error. There were actually four children born to her, with three still living.)

1920 Census, Harrison Co, WV (Tenmile District, City of Salem), enumerated on Jan 3 1920:
Charles Clevenger, 72, retired farmer; wife Narcissus, 74; dau Dolores, 38, single, teacher in high school; roomer Mary Jones, 50, single, teacher in high school.
