1910 Census, Doddridge Co, WV (Central District), enumerated on May 5 1910:
Ephriam H. Bee, 31, farmer, married 8 yrs; wife Daisy, 24 (29?), mother of 2 children (one still living); dau Vonda I, 11 months.

"West Union Herald," Thursday, Jan 25 1917:
"The court appointed E. H. Bee overseer Superintendent of the County Infirmary for the term of one year from the first day of April, 1917, at the price of $400.00, and the said E. H. Bee entered into a contract to perform said work and gave a bond as required by law in the penalty of $500, with H. L. Hammond and J. Benton Swiger, security."
(NOTE: The County Infirmary, sometimes referred to as the County Poor Farm, was located at Sunnyside. Many years later, it was converted to the Britton Rest Home, which has since closed and been torn down.)

1920 Census, Doddridge Co, WV (Central District), enumerated on Jan 12 1920:
Ephriam H. Bee, 42, farmer; wife Daisy, 39; dau Vondy, 10; son Reed, 9. A fourth member of the household was Clifford Morris, 16, identified as a pauper doing farm work.

1930 Census, Doddridge Co, WV (Central District), enumerated on Apr 5 1930:
Ephraim H. Bee, 53, farmer; wife Daisy, 50.
