Notes for: George Wilson Husk

Resident of Richwood, Nicholas Co, WV, until last few years of his life, when, as a widower deeply troubled by the unexpected death of his wife from a sudden diabetic coma, he moved to Centralia, Braxton Co, WV, to live with daughter Alice and her family. His primary occupation was as an Air Man on the logging trains for the Cherry River Boom and Lumber Company at Richwood. He was also Assistant Train Master to his brother William "Will" Husk, who was the Train Master (supervisor) responsible for the movement of trains over the system. The circumstance of his death was suicide with a shotgun, as he never recovered from the death of his wife.
