Notes for: William Carl Christie
Local news item from the "Smithton News Notes" column of the "West Union Herald," Thursday, June 15 1916, in its entirety:
"On Friday of last week, Master Carl Christie was caught by the belt in the pump-station and sustained quite a serious injury to his forehead and face before he could be rescued. Fortunately, only flesh wounds resulted, but he will be confined to his bed for several days, and his family are rejoiced that the accident proved no worse."
