Notes for: Joseph Gaston

Practiced medicine in Honey Brook (formerly called Waynesburg), Chester Co, PA, for forty years following his graduation from the University of Pennsylvania. He was noted in the educational field, and long before the existence of a superintendent of schools, he was generally selected as one of those who examined applicants for teaching positions in the public schools. He was a fine debater, taking an active part in lyceums and debating societies.
