Notes for: Carleton A. "Coach" Hogue

Caption with his 1932 Salem College yearbook photo:
" 'His limbs were cast in manly mould, For hardy sports or contest bold.'
'Peely' is the unusual, in that he is a practical joker who can take a joke on himself. He has made many friends and no enemies, is an outstanding football man, and is one of those gentlemen who prefer blonds."
