Notes for: Lydia Parent

Katie Dailey Gaston, in a 3/19/1968 letter to Jacquie Gaston Blevins, identified Charity Cheeseman as the daughter of Joseph Cheeseman and Hendriekye Cheeseman. The DAR Lineage Book, p. 357, in giving the lineage of Beulah Stanford Gaston (DAR #9971), identifies Charity's parents as Joseph Cheeseman (1700-1738) and Lydia Parent. Hanna, in "Ohio Valley Genealogies," gives Charity's father as Joseph Cheeseman but does not identify her mother.
