Notes for: William Gaston

Unclear which of his two wives (as listed in military records) was the mother of his children. Hanna, though stating that William had sons William and James, makes no mention of a wife. He served as a Captain from South Carolina in the Revolutionary War, and was also a Chester District (SC) Judge and Civil Magistrate.
