A natural daughter of Clarence Todd Bland & Margaret Romine, she was the adopted daughter of George Willis & Martha Agnes Knight. In the 1920 Census, however, she was listed as a servant in the household of George & Martha A. Willis. She was predeceased by one sister, one brother, one half-sister, and two half-brothers.
