Notes for: Jonathan Coburn Lowther

From Minnie Kendall Lowther's "History of Ritchie County" regarding Jonathan C. Lowther: "He is now (1910) ninety-one years of age, and is as active as a boy, being able to jump up and crack his heels together. He enjoys the distinction of being the only surviving grandson of Col. Lowther."
