"B. W. Foley spent last week in Parkersburg. When a fellow stays a week in Parkersburg you can expect to hear something, and this time he bought a 207-acre farm in the Hendershot oil field in Wood County, in partnership with C. T. Smith and L. B. Welch. He also bought three lots in Parkersburg, then traded them to a man in Ohio for a 16-acre tract, with a dwelling, in oil territory."
