While Osborne is the more commonly found spelling for himself, his father, and his children, his own obituary identifies him and all others as "Osburne," while his SSDI entry identifies him as "Wade C. Osborn." The obituary of his wife, who predeceased him, has the name spelled "Osborne" throughout.
