Notes for: Oral Duncan Swisher

A veteran of World War II, he served 27 months in the Army, with 18 months overseas. Before entering the service, he spent seven years in Ajo, Arizona, where he was employed in the copper mines and store for the Phelps Dodge Corporation. His was one of the homes destroyed in the 1950 Flood in Doddridge County.
