Notes for: Mary Price

Minnie Kendall Lowther, in "History of Ritchie County," p. 335, and in "Ritchie County in History and Romance," p. 300, identifies the wife of John Leggett II as Mary Price, and the 1879 census entry also identifies her as Mary. But "Ritchie County Cemeteries through 1993," p. 661, identifies her as Nancy Price.
