Notes for: James Wesley Fleming

Although his name is recorded in his birth record as John Wesley Fleming, later records identify him as James Wesley Fleming. In the 1880 Census, he was listed as James W. Fleming, with a younger brother John E. Fleming. He was commonly identified only by his middle name Wesley, including in his death record and the 1900 and 1920 censuses.
