Notes for: John Gaston

John Gaston was born in County Antrim, Ireland, probably near Ballymena (or possibly Ballymoney), in 1703 or 1704. Along with brother Alexander (and possibly a third brother who settled in New Jersey), John arrived in America between 1720-26 through the Port of Perth Amboy, settling at Voluntown, Windham County, Connecticut in 1726 or 1727.
