Notes for: Ira Leslie Swiger

Local news item, "Doddridge County Republican," Thursday, Dec 14 1916, in its entirety:
"Doubtless it will be of interest to many of our people to learn that Hon. Ira L. Swiger of Harrison County has written and had published a 400-page history of the Swiger Family. The work is the result of six years of labor, and is a valuable addition to the history of this section of West Virginia. The history of the Allen family is also taken up, beginning with the year 1776."
