"W. T. Strosnider, who was a constable in McClellan District for many years, and now holds a like position at Pennsboro, Ritchie County, was here on business Friday. He had his house and contents burned about the first of July, has rebuilt and is now flourishing."

Local news item, "West Union Record," Thursday, Feb 1 1917, in its entirety:
"Constable W. T. Strosnider, of Pennsboro, was here Friday night on business. He was reared in McClellan district, and is now pleasantly situated in our neighboring city."
