Notes for: Hugh Wisby

First record of Hugh Wisby in Ohio was his voting registration in Concord Twp, Highland Co, in 1811. His last recorded business transaction was in 1837, and he is believed to have died between 1837 and 1840. By the 1850 Census, his second wife, Dorcus, 54, was found living with her two youngest children. Suriety (sic) on the marriage bond of Hugh Wisby & Nancy Brummage was Enoch Vincent, possibly the brother of Edward T. Vincent, husband of Hugh's sister Rebecca Wisby.
