WEST UNION TEAMSTER BURNED IN EXPLOSION
WEST UNION, Jan 29 (AP) --
When a partially filled five-gallon can of kerosene exploded at Charles and Thurman Hoskins' livery stable, it burned Goff Jett, teamster, about the face, and set fire to the building.
The barn is next door to the volunteer fire department, member of which were on the job within a few seconds and extinguished the blaze with chemicals. Loss was fixed around $15.
Jett received first aid from firemen and was taken to his home. His wounds are not expected to prove serious.
