      MAN KILLED ON THE RAILROAD
On Saturday morning Mr. Albert Wright met with a fatal accident at West Union, Doddridge county, on the Northwestern railroad. Mr. Wright attempted, at West Union station, to jump upon the "way freight" train, while in motion, which had one passenger car attached. In jumping, his foot struck the side of the step on the car and was caught between that and the platform of the depot, and he was thereby thrown upon the track, several cars passing over his body. The unfortunate man survived about three hours. He was a young man, had no family, and was an employe of the road.
