    • Military records show that Isaac Ellefrit (sic) joined for duty in Harrisville on August 10, 1862, age 27. He mustered in as Private in Co. K, 10th W.Va. Infantry on November 15, 1862 in Beverly, Randolph County. He was admitted to Patterson Park General Hospital in Baltimore on August 8, 1864, diagnosed with rheumatism. Ritchie County is listed as his residence, with a Greenwood Post Office (Doddridge County) for his wife's mailing address. He was promoted to Sergeant on May 4, 1865, and he mustered out in Richmond on June 29, 1865.
