But the 1900 Census gives his birth date as 1890, and his birth record specifies Jun 14 1890. Birth date of 1899 on his death certificate is clearly incorrect. Likewise, the death date of Jun 1 1933 on his headstone is incorrect, based on the May 31 1933 date on his death record. And his headstone is incorrectly engraved with the middle initial "O." His name appears regularly in records as Orval E. Perine, and his birth record show his middle name to be Earl.
