2.    William H.2 Vincent, (1.John1) b. ca 1757 in Washington Co, MD, d. bef Mar 1816 in Monongalia Co, VA (now Marion Co, WV) [Reportedly got drunk and drowned in the Tygart River.], buried in Robinsons Run, Union Dist, Marion Co, WV,1 occupation nailmaker & farmer.  He married (1) ca 1779 in Fayette Co, PA,[2] Lucy Luzadder, also known as Mary Luzadder, b. 1760 in New Jersey,[3] (daughter of Aaron Luzader II and Mary Bartley) d. ca 1784 in Fayette Co, PA.3  He married1 (2) Hannah Hanks, b. ca 1760,1 (daughter of Peter Isaac Hanks) d. 182_ in Monongalia Co, (W)VA,1 [Believed to be after 1820 but before August 1828.].

                                      Children by Hannah Hanks:

                             iii.     Clement B. Vincent, b. 178_,1 d. Apr-  -1846 in Marion Co, (W)VA,1 occupation blacksmith & farmer.1  Never married, but left a number of illegitimate descendants, some of which were recorded in Census 1850 #82 and 1860 #811. In his will, he left 50 acres and his mansion house to Margaret Tatterson, and his personal property to Clement Tatterson. He believed himself to be the father of Clement Tatterson. Other children believed to be fathered by him with Margaret Tatterson were Sarah M, Nancy, Margaret D., Lovina, and three more daughters.[4]

                             iv.     Mary Vincent, b. 178_.1  Believed to have died after 1816, when she was named in a deed, but before 1828.  She may have married John Fanchier.4

                             vii.    Abraham (twin) Vincent, also known as Abram Vincent, b. 179_,1 d. aft 1823.1  He married Sep-27-1817 in Monongalia Co, (W)VA,1 Mary Vandergrift.  Abraham Vincent and Mary Vandergrift are believed to have had five children, 2 sons and 3 daughters, names not known.1

                             viii.   John A. (twin) Vincent, b. 179_,1 d. aft 1828.1  He married Mar-21-1823 in Monongalia Co, (W)VA, Hannah Fanchier, (daughter of John Fanchier and Mary Barnes).

Feb-29-1868 in Fairmont, Marion Co, WV,1 buried in Vincent Cemetery, Vinegar Hill, Marion Co, WV,1 census 1860 in Boothsville, Marion Co, WV,[8] occupation farmer, Methodist Episcopal Minister.8,1  Served in War of 1812, enlisting on Sep 4 1812 and serving in Capt. John Patton's Company and Col. Dudley Evans Regiment of the Virginia Militia.  He was discharged at Fort Meigs, Ohio on Mar 28 1813.  He received 187 acres of bounty land near Tygart Valley in what is now Taylor Co, WV.  [Leola Williams Andrews] He married Mar- 6-1808 in Geneva, Washington (now Fayette) Co, PA,[9] Rebecca Wisby, b. Jul-  -1793 in Fayette Co, PA,3 (daughter of Joseph Wisby and Sarah Dixon) d.
