He also worked as an electrician at the former Federal Paper Board and the former Industrial Supply, both of Steubenville. He was a member of Wintersville Baptist Temple, American Legion Post 557, Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad, Steel Valley Antique Car Club, Experimental Airplane Association of Wintersville, Carroll County Historical Society, Police Auxiliary of Wintersville, and Wintersville Volunteer Fire Department.
