1930 Census, Doddridge Co, WV (Grant District), enumerated on Apr 12 1930 on Morgans Run Road:
Clarence O. Myer, 50, farmer; wife Kate, 47; orphan child Clarence Hennings, 13.
NOTE: Clarence Henning was the son of James Rolland "Roley" Henning and Mary Zirkle. His mother died in 1917. His father remarried in 1919 and soon moved to another part of the state, where he raised a family of three children with his second wife. Clarence Henning was Catherine "Kate" Powell Myer's first cousin once removed; his paternal grandmother, Calista Powell, was her aunt.
