1850 Census, Doddridge Co, Virginia (now West Virginia), enumerated on Aug 23 1850:
Snowden Kinney, 46, farmer, value of real estate $2,000; Mary, 54; Solomon, 24, cannot read, insane; Benjamin, 20, farmer, cannot read; John, 20, farmer; David, 15, farmer; Susanna, 13; Israel, 10; Russel, 7. All born in Virginia except Snowden, born in Pennsylvania.
NOTE: Solomon was misidentified with the surname Kinney. He was actually Solomon Jarvis, son of Mary Sayre and her first husband James Jarvis.

1860 Census - Not found.

1870 Census, Doddridge Co, WV (West Union Twp), enumerated on Jun 9 1870:
Snoden S. Kinney, 66, b. Pa., farmer, value of real estate $10,000, value of personal estate $600; Mary Kinney, 70, b. Va; Solomon Jarvis, 46, b. Va, common laborer, idiot, cannot read/write, denied right to vote.

We have found no record of this Solomon Jarvis after the 1870 Census. Another Solomon Jarvis of about the same age was found in Lewis County with his wife and children in every census from 1850 through 1900.
