Notes for: Sarah Anne Husk
In 1849, Sarah Anne Husk and her husband Selby Wade Jr. bought a 50-acre farm on Pedlar Run from their brother-in-law Horatio Britton (husband of Sarah's sister Mary Husk). In 1851, the Wades sold the property to John Core and moved to Ritchie County.

1870 Census, Union Twp, Ritchie Co, WV:
Selby Wade, age 49, farmer; wife Sarah A., age 42 (or 47); son Andrew M., age 22; son Thomas J., age 14; son John M., age 8.
1880 Census, Southwest District, Doddridge Co, WV:
Sarah A. Wade as head of household, divorced, age 51, born in Pennsylvania; son Jefferson, age 22; and son Miller, age 20.
