Notes for: Sarah Haddox

"Ritchie County in History and Romance," p. 40, lists as children of John Moody Pritchard and Sarah Haddox the same first eight that we show here, with the exception that a son Jasper is listed rather than James. James is documented through his marriage record as a child of this couple; since Jasper and James are shown as being of the same age, it would appear that James was also known as Jasper. There is no reference at all to a daugher Isabel, who is found in the 1860 Census and is identified in her marriage record as a daughter of John M. & Sarah Pritchard.
