Notes for: Eliza Ann Highland

Minnie Kendall Lowther, in "History of Ritchie County," p. 10, states that Robert Lowther, Jr. and Eliza Highland were the parents of three sons and two daughters, names not given. Research has found that they had at least four sons and five daughters.

1860 Census, Harrison Co, Virginia (now West Virginia):
Robert J. Lowther, 57, farmer; Eliza A, 56; Tillithia, 26; Catharine, 22; John J. Miller, 1 yr 1 mo.
